The Information Technology Division of Texas State University has developed a scalable Project Management Practice in accordance with DIR’s Project Management Practices Rule. TAC §216. UPPS 04.02.03 outlines the purpose, the governance and responsibilities, the scope and the description of the Practice, and how it interacts with the University’s System Development Life Cycle.
Each Department within Information Technology has mapped the Components of the Project Management Practice applicable for their use, and has adopted a set of Project Classification Criteria for scaling projects.
